American Deadbolt
American Deadbolt is an independent film from writer/director Bryan Redding. Filmed in Athens, Georgia, it aims to highlight the incredible film industry present in the area.
LOGLINE: During a horrific 4th of July terrorist attack, a group of 5 desperate employees find themselves trapped in the back room of a restaurant. But as they try to stay alive, they discover their greatest threat is locked in the room with them.
THE TEAM
Bryan Redding - Director
Bryan Redding is an award winning director, cinematographer and photographer based in Athens, Georgia. He has spent the last fifteen years serving as both the Director and Cinematographer on a number of independent projects and music videos in addition to being the Director of Photography on three feature length films, the horror/thriller feature, “The Morningside Monster,” “Haven’s End” and the documentary “3-Minute Activists: The Soul of Slam.” In addition to independent film projects, Bryan also runs a commercial video production company called BED Productions. His past clients have included, Delta, Red Bull, Coca-Cola, Kubota Tractors, Walmart, MTV, Zeiss, Penguin Books, Forbes Travel Guide, Cricket Wireless, Kleenex and NightForce Optics.
Christos Hines - Executive Producer
Christos Hines has been writing and producing short films in Athens, Georgia since 1995. His work has won screenplay competitions and awards at film festivals. He is chairman of the board of Film Athens, a non-profit dedicated to growing, educating and revitalizing the film community in Athens, Georgia. Christos is also an entrepreneur with 20 years of experience managing departments, budgets and marketing campaigns. He holds a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Alabama. His film, “Small Group.” was released theatrically in the fall of 2018.
Clint Ross - Co-Producer
Ross grew up in the mountains of North Georgia with a lot of time on his hands and a big imagination. He learned the fundamentals of screenwriting while being mentored by the former writer of The Cosby Show before setting out to pursue a Master’s Degree in Film and Television from Savannah College of Art and Design. He is a Roadmap JumpStart competition winner. 8 on The Blacklist. Top 3% Coverfly. AFM Pitch Fest Winner. Clint is repped by Citizen Skull Management.
